Volunteer Work

Over the last few years, I've volunteered for social justice causes and in social support settings close to my heart. Here are the highlights:

• International Rescue Committee (IRC) as a Community Engagement Volunteer (we put together a database of LGBTQ+ affirming resources for Spanish-speaking people arriving in the U.S. on asylum)

• American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in a variety of roles

• Chung for College Board 2022 (to elect the first nonbinary trustee for City College, San Francisco!)

• National LGBT Help Center to support the mental well-being of our communities

• University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Alliance Health Project (as a group facilitator), No One Dies Alone (NODA) as a fellow human companion to people going through the dying process, and Benioff Children's Hospital as an education support volunteer
